  Happy Memorial Day!
  We're having a nice visit with our family. Yesterday we had family pictures done & then went to Uncle Tim & Aunt Joni's lake house. Julia loved it - she swam, played in the sand & even took a boat ride! Eva's been stealing hearts too!
  We're heading back to Bettendorf tomorrow & I'll add more pictures then! Thanks for checking in on us!

  Ooops! A little late with Eva's 10 month picture - sorry! This month it was a little harder to get Eva's picture because she was trying to move constantly!
  We've had a great week. Yesterday Julia went to breakfast, lunch & the art museum with Grandma Fran. It's so great to have Fran & Mike close! Molly stopped by on her way to Iowa City too! Today we're going to take a tour of Hy-Vee with our Moms Club. Julia keeps asking if they'll let her try the donuts! We're off to CB on Friday to have a family weekend celebrating Scott's graduation before he moves to Indy. Everyone will be home and Grandma B & Grandpa Ray will be there visiting from Florida, so it will be lots of fun!

  Eva is officially crawling! I was a mean Mom & took her baby away from her so I could catch it on video...check it out! She's still slow, but I'm sure in a couple of days she'll be everywhere!
  It's been a busy week! We toured the fire station, went to Annie's for a playdate & we're going to a cookout at the neighbors tonight. Tomorrow Grandma & Grandpa are coming over to play with Julia & Eva while Josh & I take the afternoon off. Hooray!

  EXCITING NEWS! Aunt Jen is going to have a baby! We're SOOOO excited & January isn't going to be able to come fast enough! Julia has been telling everyone she knows that "Aunt Jen has baby in her belly right now". Congrats Jen & Jeff!
  Happy Birthday to Uncle Matt! We're heading over to Grandma & Grandpa's tonight to have a birthday dinner.

  What a wonderful Mother's Day! We had a perfect day! Josh & the girls spoiled me - I'm so lucky! I hope all of you other Moms had a great day too!
  Yesterday Josh, Grandpa Mike & Uncle Matt worked all day building the girls' swing set. They did a great job & both girls are already loving playing on the swing set! Thank you Grandpa Mike & Uncle Matt!!!

  Welcome to the world Samuel Isaac Adkins! Samuel weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz & was 21 inches long. Wes, Jill & Mason, we're so happy for you & can't wait to meet the newest member of the family!

  What a great weekend! The weather ended up cooperating & we were able to watch Uncle Scott play two ball games! It was great watching him play...I'm so sad he's going to graduate & be done with baseball! Maybe it's time for Julia to start t-ball so our family can still get a baseball fix?!?!
  Julia also had another princess birthday party! It was so much fun! 3 Cinderella's, 2 Belle's, 1 prince, 1 pirate prince & Bob the Builder were all in attendance. There were also some kings, queens & a couple of royal babies! Thank you to everyone for coming! We had a great time!

  We've been CRAZY lately! Monday my cousin, Lauren, and her little girl, Olivia came for a visit. It was great seeing them! Julia was very "motherly" to Olivia, but Olivia didn't seem to mind! On Tuesday Julia went to stay with Grandma Fran & Grandpa Mike, so Eva & I went to buy flowers. Yesterday was check-up day. Julia weighed 28 lbs. 8 oz (25%) and was 36 1/2 inches long (40%). Eva was 15 lbs 12 oz (10%) and 26 1/4 inches. Tiny girls! We've been enjoying the beautiful weather and have been spending lots of time outside! Tomorrow we're heading to CB for baseball & more birthday!
